Service 02
Find out what your price is actually saying.
A single working session set aside to look honestly at how your prices are currently built, and what other positions — value-based, cost-plus, tiered, subscription — might offer instead.
Back to homeThe promise
By the end of the session, you will have three modelled pricing positions set against your actual sales volumes, together with a written record of what was discussed and why. Nothing is decided for you — the session is designed to leave you better informed, not committed.
The problem this addresses
Many prices are set once, early on, and simply carried forward — adjusted occasionally for inflation, rarely reconsidered from first principles. If you suspect your current price reflects habit more than a considered decision, this session is built for that suspicion.
The approach
Ahead of the session, we read your current price lists to understand how pricing is structured today. During the session, three alternative positions are modelled against your actual sales volumes — not hypothetical ones — so the comparison reflects your real business rather than a generic example.
Every position discussed, including ones that would be difficult for your company as it currently operates, is set out honestly.
What the session looks like
The session runs for three hours with up to four participants from your side. It is conversational rather than a presentation — questions and pushback are expected and welcomed throughout, not saved for the end.
A written record of the reasoning discussed follows shortly after, so the conversation remains available to revisit later.
The investment
- —Preparatory reading of current price lists
- —Three pricing positions modelled against your volumes
- —Written record of the reasoning discussed
- —One three-hour session, up to four participants
On expectations
This session compares models and their implications; it does not produce a final recommended price by itself. Deciding whether and how to change a live price remains a separate decision, one usually made after further internal discussion.
Assumption
Volume figures used in the session are taken from records you provide beforehand. Accuracy of the comparison depends on how current and complete those figures are.
If it does not fit your situation
If your underlying costs are not yet well understood, a Margin Structure Review may be a more useful starting point than this discussion — that will be raised plainly in an initial conversation if it seems to apply.
Getting started
A short message outlining your current pricing situation is enough to begin. We will confirm participants, gather your current price lists, and agree a date before anything else is required.
