Each quarter, you leave the session with a short written note listing what was observed and the questions worth carrying into the next one. Over several quarters, this builds a running record of how your figures are actually moving, not just what they show at a single point in time.
The problem this addresses
An accountant prepares statements accurately, but preparing and interpreting are different jobs, and many companies without an internal finance function receive the former without the latter. Numbers can drift for several quarters before anyone stops to ask what changed and why.
The approach
We take the role of an informed reader of your accounts — not auditing them, but asking the kind of questions a close but external eye tends to raise: what moved since last quarter, whether it matches what was expected, and whether it deserves a closer look.
What the process looks like
Each session runs two hours and takes place once a quarter, once the relevant statements are available. Sessions are conversational, working from the figures your accountant has already prepared rather than requiring separate reporting.
A written note follows each session, and questions raised in one quarter are carried into the next, so the review builds continuity over time rather than starting fresh each time.

On expectations
This review reads and interprets figures already prepared by your accountant; it does not replace bookkeeping or statutory accounting work.
Assumption
Sessions assume statements are available in a broadly consistent format each quarter. Significant changes in accounting method between quarters may extend the time needed for a given session.
Getting started
A short message is enough to arrange a first session. There is no requirement to commit beyond a single quarter, and the arrangement can be paused or ended between sessions without penalty.
